We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Scheduler to support the construction, commissioning, qualification and validation of our GMP clinical manufacturing facility. In this role, based in beautiful Vancouver, Canada, you will manage our master integrated schedule from construction through operational readiness and use your agile skills and experience to facilitate planning and execution of team ‘sprints.
How you might spend your days
- Maintaining the master integrated schedule to ensure that it is the single source of truth for our GMP program and generating solutions to issues impacting the critical path to achieving our schedule target
- During on site execution of clean system commissioning and qualification activities you will manage the site planning and execution room, facilitate sprint planning meetings, support setting up sprint boards and facilitate sprint execution
- Leading interactive planning workshops to help our operational teams build out their schedules and identify schedule risks and opportunities
- Developing schedule scenarios to support decision making
- Working with operational teams to regularly update schedule progress and identify issues preventing planned progress
- Supporting the program steering committee and lead project managers with schedule progress, analysis, analytical insights and reports
- Working with PMs to continuously improve schedule performance (planned versus actual), identify schedule risks and opportunities to reach important milestones more quickly
We’d love to hear from you if
- You are strongly self-motivated and are able to identify project needs and follow that up with proposing and implementing solutions
- You are enthusiastic about applying your expertise in a manufacturing start up environment
- You have 8+ years of experience in detailed scheduling for major projects. Ideally with master scheduling development and management expertise spanning construction, commissioning, qualification and operational readiness
- Experienced and comfortable leading teams in using an agile framework for planning and execution of site commissioning and qualification activities
- Experience working on health science projects (Pharma, BioPharma, Healthcare) or in GMP environments (desirable)
- You have strong communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively as a member of a cross-functional team
- You have advanced scheduling and planning skills and have demonstrated expertise using Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software
What we offer
AbCellera’s hiring range for this role is CAD $95,100 - $119,000 annually, commensurate with your education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, annual bonus dependent on team and company performance, and a 6% (non-match) RRSP contribution.
